Figment is not "anti-American", we are simply against any individual, organization, corporation, business, government, country or administration, i.e. George W. Bush, which takes advantage of children, the elderly, the underpriveledged, the sick, it's own veterans, endangered animals, other nations and the natural wonders in which we are given by GOD each and every day.

Punk rock can and will change the world for the better if we let it, if we become it, and if we truley live it, and believe it can happen. [Although it isn't going to be easy.] You may be beaten down, harrased, falsely accused, arrested or even murdered by the fine men and women in blue/black who took an oath to do the exact opposite; TO PROTECT AND SERVE! But at this point in my life I must ask, "who are they protecting" and "who are they serving?" and if we just stand by and watch, then what is it that we actually believe in and stand for, who are we as individuals? If we RISE UP, that is ANARKY in it's greatest form...so "RISE UP" and "WELCOME TO THE REVOLUTION".

FIGMENT is an entity in itself, a culture, a foundation, and an activism network all wrapped up in one.

FIGMENT was created by those and for those individuals who honestly believe and strive for a better today, tomorrow and future generations to come. We believe in equality, compassion, humanity, and a fair and just society, nation and world. FIGMENT does not support racism, homophobia, sexism or discrimination of any kind. FIGMENT was created out of NECESSITY for a damaged planet in diar need of a great savior or saviors. [All who wish to participate in this battle are encouraged and welcome, for we all can be saviors in our own ways and the degree of our involvment is totally up to each and every one of us.] One of the most simple forms of environmental activism is to recycle, or to pick up trash along the sidewalk, road, beach or where ever you may be and dispose of it properly. [or for you nicotine addicts, put your cigarette butts in the trash, not out your window] or get involved with some great organizations such as ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE, GREEN PEACE, AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL, KOKO.ORG or just buy our c.d. damn it!!!

FIGMENT is not a blend of lustrous melodies, mixed with heavenly harmonies or a brand new style of punk-rap-emo rock with fusion overtones!

Mission:
Fighting big money requires big money and the Bush administration has weakened many very important environmental laws, such as the clean water act, The Roadless Area Conservation Rule, auto emitions regulations, backed out of the Kyoto GLOBAL WARMING treaty, and has also given major polluters a break. We believe that it is our DUTY as musicians to take on this RESPONSIBILITY and to inform all good people who want to make a difference and to improve the lives of all living things.[While having one hell of a time doing so...] FIGMENT
